Collects ASM #78-85
I enjoyed this pocketbook very much. Firstly, the first appearence of the Prowler was very good, and i hope to see more of him in future. The Kangaroo story wasn't too bad, considering i've never heard of him before. The re-appearences of Chameleon and Electro were very good, but too short. The Schemer story was very good, and his secret is a shocker! this is a must-read for any spider-fan
I'd rate this 9/10

This is a very entertaining pocketbook, its great to see some old gang-war action in the spidey comics. It was also great to see the returns of both Shocker and The Lizard. To Crush The Kingpin is a must-read for all Spidey fans.
I'd give it a 9/10

A plan so grand and so unbelievable that it may well lead to the destruction of the webber wonder!
Collects ASM #62-67 and annuals 2 and 5
This pocketbook was a good read. The Vulture and Mysterio stories were the best and very exciting. Annual 5 with the Red Skul was very entertaining, while the annual with Dr Strange was kind of boring.
I'd rate this an 8/10, the second Annaul let it down

This Pocketbook isn't too bad. I felt the Doc Ock story seemed to drag on a bit too long, but it was very good. The Ka-Zar and Spider-Slayer stories were very good, even though i don't like Ka-Zar very much. The Kingpin story was ok, nothing too special
I'd give this book an 8/10

Collects ASM #47-52 and annual 4
This pocketbook was Ok, not too good but not too bad. The Spidey/Human Torch team-up is a bit boring. The highlight of the pocketbook was the first appearence of the Kingpin, and what an appearence it was
I'd give it an 8/10. The team-up is what let it down

This was a good place to start off the Spidey pocketbooks i feel. The Steve Ditko stories were good, but these were better. Although I do hope they go back and print those stories someday. The GG story was the best, it was just great to see sucha great tale. The first appearences of Rhino and Shocker were great too. The Lizard story was funny because Spidey had to fight with one arm, which i've never seen before.
I'd give the first Spidey pocketbook a 9/10

This is an ok pocketbook, its nice to see the team act without Cyclops for once. It was also great to see the re-appearences of Havok, Polaris, Banshee and Iceman. Iceman especially since we haven't seen him since the first pocketbook. The stories are, good but the last story with Magneto was the best of the lot.
I'd give this an 8/10, could've been longer

Uncanny X-Men : Days Of Future Past
The future is history. The assassination of Senator Robert Kelly by mutant activists taught the world to fear and hate Homo Superior. It led to a chain of events culminating in world ravaged by nuclear holocaust, where the survivors are ruled over by giant robotic Sentinels. A world where mutants and humans alike are mere slaves. But what if this future could be changed? A handful of the X-Men's last surviving members hatch a plan to send Kitty Pryde's spirit back in time to inhabit her own teenage body. Once in the past she must try to prevent the murder of Senator Kelly and stop the terrible events she was witnessed from ever becoming a reality.
The future is history, the future is now.
Collects UXM # 138 - 143 and annual 4
I really liked this pocketbook, even though it is really small. I liked the first issue where it replays all the issues up until then. Then we get on to another appearence from Alpha Flight, which is ok. Then we get to the main story, another class story from Chris Claremont and John Byrne. Pure genius. We then end with a festive story featuring another N'garai demon. Then there's another annual, where the X-Men and Dr Strange have to travel to limbo to save Nightcrawler. Its not bad.
I'd give it a 9/10

Uncanny X-Men : Dark Phoenix
Within these pages can be found one of the most dramatic chapters in the history of the X-Men. Expertly crafted by Chris Claremont and John Byrne, the epic tale of the Dark Phoenix begins on a windswept Scottish island, and ends in tragedy on the dark side of the moon. It is the story of Jean Grey, and how she is transformed from a loving human to a near omnipotent being of fury and destruction. Yet it is also a story of the light and darkness that lies within all of us, and what can happen when our base desires are unleashed.
Collects UXM #125-137
This is the best pocketbook so far. I'm so glad that i can read one of the best ever comic stories ever. The Dark Phoenix story starts as a subplot to the Proteus story, but then it comes to the forefront, when we see the welcome returns of Angel and Beast.
I'd give this a 10/10 since it is one of the best stories ever to come from Chris Claremont

Uncanny X-Men : Wanted : Wolverine - Dead Or Alive
This collection of classic tales sees the X-Men begin their long journey home from the pre-historic Savage Land. Stopping first in Japan, the group must foil the plans of the megalomaniac Moses Magnum and his army of Mandroids! Next, they find themselves under attack by Canada's national team, Alpha Flight, who are determined to capture their former member Wolverine! But once they finally reach their Westchester home things fail to improve, as they find themselves at the mercy of Arcade and his specially built amusment park, Murder World!
Collects UXM #118 - 124
I think this is the weakest X-Men pocketbook out of the lot, there aren't many memorable stories in it, except the first appearence of Arcade and Murder World. The bonus is Annual 3, where Storm is selected to help the home planet of Arkon The Magnificent. This was a very enjoyable story i felt.
I'd rate this a 5/10 as not many of the stories are that good except the annual and the first appearence of Arcade to the X-Men

Finally they must do battle with the one man who has sworn to utterly destroy each and every one of them - their oldest foe, Magneto, the master of magnetism.
Collects UXM #104 - 117
This was my fisrt ever pocketbook, and i read it in a very long traffic jam. The biggest X-Men pocketbook there is, it kept me occupied that whole journey. I felt the Shi'ar story went on too long though, but it was still enjoyable. The Magneto Triunphant story was the best in the whole pocketbook, its great to see an old Magneto vs X-Men story
I'd rate this an 8/10, just because the Shi'ar story just seemed to drag on a bit, otherwise it as still enjoyable
